Who I am

Digital Media & MarComm Professional

I got my start online running a forum for people looking to teach themselves Photoshop before the advent of modern social media.

In 2010, I launched my first personal blog on Tumblr, and by 2013 had amassed a following of 25,000+. This was the perfect crash course to learn key MarComm concepts; copywriting, coding, content creation, SEO and more.

I graduated from the Kutztown University of Pennsylvania in 2018 with a BA in Communications Studies and minors in New Media & Digital Communications, Professional Writing and Public Relations.

Soon after graduating, I started working at the Kutztown University Foundation, where I’m currently the Assistant Director of Communications. My position is essential in telling the stories of alumni, donors, students and friends and communicating the impact of philanthropy at KU.

During my time at the KU Foundation, I have implemented communication strategies for record-breaking giving days and crowdfunding campaigns, boosted social media audience and engagement metrics, rebranded and managed multiple KU Foundation-related websites, and led virtual volunteer workshops based on digital communication best practices to empower the KU Community and its micro-influencers.
